Tina Fey brought along a few celebrity friends for her star-studded opening monologue on Saturday Night Live.

The former SNL head writer and castmember hosted the May 19 season finale, and kicked things off with help from several Hollywood heavyweights.

Since her birthday was Friday, Fey said she was allowed to do whatever she wanted, so she decided to take questions from the audience.

The comedy bit featured recent SNL host Donald Glover, who was a writer on Fey’s comedy 30 Rock. Glover stood up from the audience to say he left his hat in the host’s room the last time he was there.

“I was here a couple of weeks ago and I forgot my hat,” he said.

The Atlanta star then warned Fey not to touch the hat.

“Just so you know, I have this system in place. So I’ll be able to tell if you wore it or not,” he explained.

Jerry Seinfeld also appeared in the bit and asked Fey if she thought the show had too many celebrity cameos.

“I’m worried the cast isn’t getting a chance to grow,” he said.

The comedy legend, whose sitcom Seinfeld went off the air in 1998, then admitted he needed “something to do” and said he was game to play Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin.

Fey was lukewarm on the idea.

The next question came from Doctor Strange star Benedict Cumberbatch, who asked if Kenan Thompson would be on the night’s show.

When Fey said yes, Cumberbatch hinted that he’d like a gig on SNL, saying: “Have you ever thought about replacing Kenan with a slightly more famous person? It could be fun.”

Chris Rock then stood up but said never mind because “he already asked my question.”

Robert De Niro, Anne Hathaway and SNL alum Fred Armisen also appeared in the monologue, which ended with Fey’s former 30 Rock co-star Tracy Morgan stopping by to give her a special birthday message.

Nicki Minaj served as the night’s musical guest and wowed fans with a performance of her new single Chun-Li from her upcoming album,  Queen.
