Snoop Dogg stopped by Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club Friday to discuss a range of topics including his first-ever gospel album, handing the reins of hip-hop over to the “youngsters,” and how he’s evolved as an artist and a man.

The elder statesmen of hip-hop said rappers who have strong women in their lives are more grounded.

“I look at all of the rappers in the game that have wives, that have strong women in their lives. They’re stable up top,” Snoop said. “Their mental is strong.”

When he was specifically asked his thoughts on Kanye West, after the Jesus Walks rapper embraced President Trump and said slavery was “a choice,” Snoop didn’t mince words.

“I hate to be black and white, [but] there’s no black women in his life. Let’s just keep that 100,” he said. “I got aunties that’ll pull up with those big ‘ol church hats on [and say] ‘n—-a what’s happening? what you on?’”

Snoop then said he’s troubled by what’s happening in Kanye’s life.

“It got to a point where it was funny, then it got said,” he said.

The rap legend added that Kanye’s music hasn’t been the same since his mother Donda West passed away in 2007.

“I had to sympathize with that and say, ‘Maybe the women in his life should look into getting him some help from some women that are stronger than them,'” he added.

Snoop then criticized the Kardashian women, and said they have a negative impact on all the men in their lives.

“If you look at the people that went in that house with their minds straight… Let’s go to Lamar Odom. Let’s go to Kanye West. Let’s go to Rob Kardashian…” he said. “But the women are on point – million dollar deals, walking the runway, selling makeup, emojis.”

Snoop ended his Kardashian comments by saying he’s worried about fellow rapper Travis Scott, who’s the father of Kylie Jenner’s daughter Stormi.

“Travis if you’re listening, get out now!” he said.
