We now know the title of USA Network’s upcoming Suits spinoff.
Gina Torres revealed Monday the new series will be called Suits: Second City.
Torres dropped that little tidbit during NBC’s annual upfront presentation in New York City.
Her new legal drama was introduced last month on the Suits season finale and will be set in Chicago, hence the city’s nickname, The Second City.
After Torres’ character Jessica Pearson lost her license to practice in New York, she left Pearson Specter Litt and moved to Chi-Town.
On the Suits season finale, viewers saw Jessica face off with some of Chicago’s shady political leaders and a scary real estate developer, who told her not to cross him because he essentially owns the town.
After getting into a legal scrape, Jessica called her former colleague Harvey (Gabriel Macht) to help her battle the real estate developer who was displacing tenants from an apartment complex – including Jessica’s aunt – for a new building project.
The season finale also saw Suits regulars Patrick J. Adams and Meghan Markle say goodbye.
Suits: Second City was given a series order back in March.
The premiere date has not yet been announced.
