CeCe Gutierrez, one of the newest additions to VH1’s Basketball Wives hopes to bring something different to the series.

Gutierrez, a registered nurse who spent 10 years working in a trauma hospital before launching her own medical spa, insists she is no fan of drama and confrontation.

“I don’t like fighting and arguing. I just kind of want to bring something positive,” she says in a video posted on VH1.com.

That should make for some interesting scenes on the hit reality series when she comes face-to-face with Jackie Christie, Tami Roman and Evelyn Lozada, who seem to thrive on drama.

CeCe is dating former Los Angeles Lakers player and coach Byron Scott, and describes him as the love of her life.

She says she signed up for the reality show to “experience something different than the world of nursing.”

She was raised in the upscale Southern California community of Palos Verdes, and attended high school in Long Beach “on a totally different side of town.”

Those experiences apparently taught her to navigate “two different types of lifestyles,” and helped her  become more “well-rounded.”

She joins fellow newcomer Kristen Scott, who’s married to former Lakers assistant coach Thomas Scott, Byron’s son.

Series favorites Shaunie O’Neal, Evelyn Lozada, Jennifer Williams and Malaysia Pargo are also on board for Season 7 of the series, along with Tami and Jackie.

Basketball Wives premieres on Monday, May 14th at 9/8c on VH1.
